February may be a month of ups and downs
Your monthly metaphysical forecast by Andrew Kutchera
This month will involve a conflicting mix of hope and sorrow. We will need to trust the flow, regardless of the emotional waves.
On the one hand, you will likely have clear visions for your future, with the necessary confidence to work toward exciting opportunities. On the other hand, you will need to process – fully and deeply – past disappointments before manifesting your next chapter. Please remember that making sense of our histories is a lot of work, and we will feel lighter after we've alchemized our emotions. This back-and-forth will energetically clear the path for magical events to unfold.
A few words of caution: please set aside time to dream a new life, but beware of letting past realities shape your vision. If you find yourself dwelling on any failures, you might want to set a timer and indulge only for the specified time, honoring that setbacks can bring profound wisdom. Then, expand your thoughts to move beyond what you previously thought possible for your life. There's no need to force optimism, but you can certainly take steps to recognize and move past restrictive thought-patterns.
With all of this emotional processing, you will certainly crave new journeys. Two tactics could be particularly beneficial. One, listen to your heart especially when in a quiet space and feeling calm. Two, pay attention to your energy level when thinking about potential avenues. Decide to have an ongoing dialogue with your body. It's incredible that our cells – all of them, not just our brain – can help us make important decisions.
While much of this month will be about internal work, it will also become clear how exterior circumstances absolutely must change. Some of you may move. Others of you will need to switch jobs or careers. There is no turning back, so why not look ahead! Feel any melancholy, but trust the transitions. It's probable that we will look outside ourselves for security or reassurance, but we will need to go within. A good mantra for this month is: 'I can guide myself with the resources that I have."
With this in mind, try paying less attention to the feedback of others. We are each releasing the societal restraints that we have willingly accepted, and not everyone will understand what you want next. Of course, please accept the practical knowledge of others, but stay true to your goals.
Here are some questions to ask yourself: How much time do I need each day to continue my healing journey? During this time, can I sit with the nuances of what makes me happy? What current opportunities are catching my fancy? Can I allocate extra time to pursue them, and also keep a healthy detachment? Where in my life am I holding onto security over joy? Can I loosen my grip and trust the shifting landscape? When navigating each day, can I listen to the wisdom of my body? Can I establish a better relationship with my cells so I hear their prompts in big and small ways? What aspects of my life are definitively over? Can I simultaneously feel sadness and also confidently move on? Can I rest each night knowing that the universe is also working on my behalf? Wishing you a wonderful month.
