Beth Penn is a professional organizer, the founder of Bneato Bar, a business that helps people get their stuff in order, and the author of The Little Book of Tidying (Move over, Marie Kondo). When she’s not helping clients in the field, she can be found at home in her kitchen — but not necessarily cooking (though she’s been tackling Mary Berry’s sweet treat — the carrot walnut cake with pineapple is to die for). “I’ve had home offices in the past — dedicated rooms designed to keep distractions at bay,” she shares, “The only problem is, I never wanted to be in those spaces.” She prefers working in the heart of the home — where the action happens.
